First off, NYX is 40% off this week at Ulta, that combined with my handy $3.50 off $10 coupon enabled me...
NYX: Le Frou Frou Volume+Length mascara. Initial reaction, not too bad after several coats ;) Matte Black Liner, I was hoping for blacker and creamier but for under $4 it's okay.
Finally grabbed a Maybelline 10 Hour Stain Gloss to try, I'll be comparing it to another new purchase see below. I grabbed the lightest color: 100 Pink Somethingorother, it's so microscopic on the bottom of the tube! I swatched it on my hand and it's certainly not light and it has that weird sheen, almost frost but not, that a lot of long wearing lip products have.
I also picked up Zoya Chloe after seeing this blog post at Sparkly Vernis, gorg!
Now on to Sephora Chic Week purchases. Armed with my 15% off I was ready to do some serious damage. For me :)
I picked up three YSL Rouge Pur Couture Glossy Stains: 12 Corail Fauve, 15 Rose Vinyl and 19 Beige Aquarelle. My initial thoughts are, wowwowwow! I'm in love with 12 which has completely floored me being a nude lip girl. I'm on the fence about 15 (too bright blue pink?) and 19 (too pink and light?).
So what was I to do on the last night of the sale? Order two more....7 and 11....I'll post when they arrive!
Also purchased was a Hourglass Aura Sheer Lip Stain in Petal, it's very bright orange on me and I think they dang clicky thing is defective so it will go back.
I've been wanting another Clinique Chubby Stick forever so I grabbed Woppin' Watermelon, it's a great sheer pink!
I love the original Buxom glosses so I decided to try the new Big and Healthy Lip Creams, the verdict? Want more! I got White Russian (milky, nude, sheer pink) and Mudslide (slightly deeper pinky neutral).
I also wanted to add the 100 point perks I received, Cover FX Clear Prep Matte Foundation Primer and Anti-Acne Treatment Gel. I'm pretty impressed with the size: .24oz considering the full size is 1 oz. I got two because I ordered twice and should have a third on the way ;) My initial reaction is it's okay but so far I'm not getting the results I'm looking for for my oily skin.
I'm also testing out the Super Matte Antishine. This stuff works! The downside is the price, $29.50 for less than an ounce and that it contains five (!!) parabens.
